If your washer springs a leak, it doesn't necessarily mean something is wrong with the machine.
In this video, we go over some simple ways to stop your washer from leaking.
First and foremost, make sure your washer is level.
If needed, adjust its leveling legs, so it's not wobbly or lopsided.
You should also avoid overloading the washer with too much clothing, so it doesn't get unbalanced.
Next, check the water supply hose and its connections.
Look for damage on the hose itself and its accessories, such as the o-rings.
If anything is damaged, you'll need to replace it.
If you have a front-loading washer, make sure the door is properly closed and that the door seals are clean and undamaged.
On top of this, you should only use high-efficiency, or "HE", detergent.
Front-loading washers have one last thing you should check: the pump filter.
Once you've completed all of these troubleshooting tasks, try running a test cycle on the washer to see if the drum spins.
If it doesn't, you'll need to request service from Samsung Support to solve the issue.
